River (she/they) is a Fourth-Year Biology Honors Major pursuing minors in Science Communication and Business. She works as an undergraduate research assistant for Professor Anthony Dudo. With interests in journalism, graphic design, and art, River hopes to combine her love of science with her communications experience to advance science literacy in local communities. She is especially passionate about community building and outreach among minorities in STEM, incorporating a trauma-informed approach to foster a welcoming environment for learning and dialogue.
