Josh is a first-year Ph.D. student in The Stan Richards School of Advertising at The University of Texas at Austin. Josh holds a BSA of Biology from The University of Texas at Austin and an MS of Life Sciences Communication from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Josh’s research interests focus on the intersection of science engagement, democratic norms, and new media. Josh’s research includes a paper that won a top paper (third place) award in the Electronic News division at the Association for Education in Journalism & Mass Communication (AEJMC) annual conference in 2020.
