Joseph is a second-year Master of Public Affairs student at the LBJ School of Public Affairs where he focuses on policy communication. He graduated from Indiana University with both a BA in Media Studies and a JD. He has worked as an attorney for the State of Indiana as well as a high school social studies teacher. Joseph is especially interested in how political communication in the media, including disinformation, affects policy preferences and support among the general public. Joseph’s research is focused on the use of location-based political propaganda on racial and ethnic minority groups.
