Finja Augsburg is an international visiting scholar from Germany at the Center for Media Engagement. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication science and psychology and is in the final year of pursuing her master’s degree in global communication in politics and society at the University of Erfurt. In her research, she focuses on news and audience studies as well as transatlantic linkages and interactions between Europe and the United States. Beyond that, she is interested in target-group-specific communication of scientific findings in order to bridge the gap between society and academia.
