Ella Denena is a third-year journalism student with a minor in communicating social issues. She serves as an undergraduate research assistant at the Center for Media Engagement. During her time on the Forty Acres, Denena has helped produce two news shows for Texas Student Television, earned a byline in the Dallas Morning News for a feature article, and received the prestigious Moody College Rod P. Hart Student Achievement Award. She has also interned at KPRC 2 News in Houston, a top 10 news market, and assists the Associated Press with vote tabulation during elections. After graduation, Denena aspires to pursue a career in broadcast journalism at a news station.
