Claudia Wilhelm (PhD, Friedrich-Schiller-University of Jena) is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Media and Communication Studies at the University of Erfurt. Her research interests focus on media consumption, deviant behavior in digital media contexts and gender stereotypes in communication and media use. Her most recent research projects analyze the effects of deviance characteristics and counter-speech in online comments on reporting behavior as well as the influence of web metrics and user comments on the selection of news content in social media.
