Asma Sifaoui is a Graduate Research Fellow at the Center for Media Engagement, a Ph.D. candidate in advertising at the Moody College of Communication, and a Cybersecurity Fellow at the Strauss Center for International Security and Law. Her research investigates the intersection between technology and privacy. She studies computational advertising, personalized advertising such as online profiling, and emerging technologies with a focus on privacy issues and surveillance.
Asma got her M.A. in mass communication from the University of Minnesota as part of the Fulbright Foreign Student Program. She has a BBA in marketing and business analytics from Tunis Business School, University of Tunis – Tunisia. Before starting graduate school, Asma worked at Wunderman Thompson in Tunis as a Brand Analyst.
