Congratulations to the CME team members who won the Applied Communication Division’s 2016 Bill Eadie Distinguished Award for a Scholarly Article from the National Communication Association! The team received their award at the association’s annual conference in early November.
Team members Talia Stroud, Josh Scacco, Ashley Muddiman and Alex Curry were recognized for their article on journalist involvement in comment sections that was published in the Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication.
In addition, Faculty Research Associate Josh Scacco received the Lynda Lee Kaid Outstanding Dissertation Award from the National Communication Association for his dissertation, “Presidential Prediction: The Strategic Construction and Influence of Expectation Frames.”
