This summer, Center for Media Engagement research was published in two prestigious academic journals. First, CME researchers Josh Scacco, Cynthia Peacock and Talia Stroud had their work on how the structure of the comment section can affect the quality of the comments featured in the publication Journalism. Researchers Ashley Muddiman and Talia Stroud were included in the Journal of Communication, where they shared what they learned from analyzing 9.6 million comments from The New York Times.
