Center for Media Engagement team members have been busy the past couple months traveling across the country to present at various conferences.
- Research Associate Alex Curry presented at the Association of Education in Journalism and Mass Communication annual conference in San Francisco.
- Director Dr. Talia Stroud presented our research on comment sections at the Excellence in Journalism conference in Orlando. Dr. Stroud’s presentation slides can be found on SlideShare.
- Dr. Stroud and Communication Associate Katie Steiner traveled to New York City for the NYC Media Lab Annual Summit, where they had the opportunity to share CME’s work during the event’s demo showcase. Dr. Stroud also gave a workshop on the Center for Media Engagement; her presentation slides are up on SlideShare.
- Research Associate Arielle Cardona gave a lightning talk at the Online News Association’s annual conference in Los Angeles.
