Andrea Lloyd is first and foremost a native Texan, hailing from Houston. Currently, she is a master’s student in the Stan Richards School of Advertising and Public Relations at the University of Texas in Austin. She received her BS in Telecommunication Media Studies from Texas A&M University, with certificates in strategic communication and professional writing.
She has had the pleasure to work three times as a communications intern for the Public Affairs Office at NASA Langley in Hampton, Virginia. Her research interests include strategic science communication, especially with regard to space companies and agencies. When she’s not tweeting as @LearnLoudly, Andrea can be found baking in her kitchen or walking her roommate’s dog.
