Ana is a Graphics Reporter with the Houston Chronicle and an affiliate fellow at the Center for Media Engagement (CME) at The University of Texas at Austin (UT). Ana’s previous work has involved the use of Encrypted messaging applications (EMAs) and small-scale influencers in political and propaganda campaigns. Her research interests include online extremism, computational propaganda, and the politicization of social media influencers, especially those targeting women and immigrant populations.
